Carpenter.StudioThe Health Chair designed by Herman H. Sperlich in 1938 for the Ironrite Ironer Company. This ergonomic design was specifically made for workers using the company’s ironing machines. The backrest tilts along with the sitters movements. This iconic design is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art.
